Check the tag on your pajamas. It probably says polyester.

If you wake up hot and sticky, look at the tag before you blame the weather. Polyester is a plastic fibre, and most pajamas are made from it or a blend.

Most of my pajama tags read like an ingredients list, with polyester right at the top. I'm sleeping in plastic, and the tag says so. Which isn't exactly what I want against my skin for 8 hours a night.

Everything in my bedroom is natural, except what's on me. The linen on the bed, the wood, the plants: it all grew somewhere. Polyester is the one thing that didn't, and the one thing I never chose.

  • Stone-washed linen doesn't wrinkle that much.
  • A few wrinkles? Spray plain water on the linen and put it on right away. Most of them are gone.
  • Or iron on medium. Or just leave them: the wrinkles are the beautiful texture of linen.

Will it shrink? Hand-wash only is a no.
Machine wash at 30 to 40 °C with a gentle detergent. Dry on a low setting. Dyed in two steps, then stone-washed, so washed as instructed it will not shrink or colour bleed. They're soft linen and wash well. Franciska B., as above.

Is it see-through?

Will the legs be too long or too short?

Is it really cooling, or just comfy?
Breathable: it moves air and moisture. Before it feels wet, flax takes up about 12% of its own weight, cotton 8.5%, polyester 0.4% (moisture regain at 65% RH, 21 °C; ASTM D1909; Regulation (EU) No 1007/2011, Annex IX).
Are there pockets in the pants?
This set: none, shirt or pants. Snooze is the same set with two front pockets on the shirt; its pants have none either.
Will it fit my hips, chest or thighs?

Can I even sleep in a set?
